  4. Unfortunately, NO. It would work only on iPhone and iTouch.

Technically, each phone (irrespective of their brand/model) would have an Operating System (OS) to perform all those functionalities. Any mobile application developed for/on a OS would only work on that OS.

There are five major mobile OS (based on their market share) available right now.

Symbian OS: Used by Nokia, Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson phones (not all models). Even though these phones have the Lion's share of the global market, there's not much applications available for these phones, since not many developers were interested in developing for this OS. But, now the trend is changing. Applications developed for Symbian OS would only work on these phones.

Blackberry OS: Used by Blackberry phone.

iPhone OS: Developed by Apple and used in iPhone and iPod Touch

Windows Mobile OS: LG, HP, HTC, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and other manufactures have different models of their phones using this OS.

Android OS: Developed by Google, this OS could be the main competitor to iPhone OS in the coming years. HTC, Intel and other phone manufacturers are using Android OS. Google said 60,000 Android phones are being shipped per day. So, there are growing number of developers interested/moving to Android development.

Having said all that (I know its too technical and way beyond your expected answer. But I hope it would help people/developers interested in Mobile Programming), this application would only work on iPhone and iTouch.

I know it would be great to have a single Development Architecture/Foundation for all these phones so that you can install a application on all phones. But, since each Operating System is designed differently, it's not possible.

    Thanks
